About 6K of trails were groomed this afternoon during another 5+ inches of new snow, that plus last weekend's snow and all the trails are in amazing shape!

No April Foolin' - Classic skied on hardwax on April 1st! Vasaloppet Nordic Center trails were groomed overnight after about 8" of fresh snow, at least the main 5k loop and a couple of the cutoffs/offshoots. Ranged from rock-solid to pretty soft in some areas, a few thin spots in the tracks to watch out for, but overall fantastic for April 1st. When I arrived at 10:45AM, I was the only car in the parking lot, but over the next couple of hours, was joined by a half-dozen locals enjoying the trails.

5km of Nordic Center trails were groomed Saturday morning after overnight snowfall. Very good conditions and some classic track set.

Skied the Last Chance race yesterday and skied some of the other trails this morning... The skiing is still quite good and a lot of the trails are in B ski shape, however, there are some areas that are starting to burn through. It's icy right around the nordic center but as soon as you get to the first gate the snow is much better.

Spring skiing is excellent in Mora! The skate deck is firm and fast but not icy and the tracks are holding up well... could probably still use good skis but the B skis were in the car.

If you didn't classic ski the Nordic Center trails this morning you may have missed possibly the best classical skiing of the season. Tracks were hard and fast, but not too icy. Use the good skis. Can't have much more enjoyment this side of heaven!

All trails are groomed and in excellent condition! Classic tracks set on all trails along with skate lane. Roughly 15k.

12K of Vasaloppet Nordic Ski Center trails were groomed with a Pisten Bully today for skating and classic skiing. They are soft now when temps are above freezing. They should be excellent skiing once the temperature falls below freezing and in the morning. Plans are to scratch up the trails in the morning with a Yellowstone if needed. Donations are appreciated to help cover the costs of grooming, snowmaking and facilities maintenance.

The trails in Mora are freshly groomed and tracks are set! I was skating but hopped in the tracks for some double poling and some downhills and they are great. There are some soft spots in the sun but I'm still using my best skis. The word is that it'll be groomed again in the morning to till up any icy spots.

The Nordic Center Trails were groomed for skating with the Yellowstone groomer this morning and will be scratched up again on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Skiing was excellent in the morning before it got above freezing and again in the evening when the temperature fell to freezing. Classic tracks are set and quite clean as it has been a calm week without much wind. The classic tracks are glazed so no wax skis, skin skis or klister possibly covered with hard wax on classic skis might work well.
