Trail Detail
Notes
The Piedmont trail has 5k of trail for beginning and intermediate skiers. This double-tracked trail leads you through both aspen, birch, and hardwood forest. Handmade signs made by a skier in the Piedmont neighborhood and a beautiful overlook of the St. Louis River Valley are the unique features of this trail.Trail Reports

I classic skied all the trails in the early afternoon. I thought the snow and tracks were quite good. There was a very little bit of bare ground and grass showing through in a few spots. The snow was mostly powdery and firm and gave good grip for climbing and the descents were not icy. The tracks had a little glaze in them in a few (sunny?) spots. I saw very few other skiers. Fun, Fun, Fun! Thanks for the grooming.

Piedmont has been groomed. Good classic track with occasional thin areas. All trails groomed. Conditions are good. Just over 2" base on all trails.

Trails had been rolled, no tracks yet, some grass/leaves showing through in just a few spots. Nice to get out!
