Classic skied late this afternoon. First time at Rum River this season, trails in good condition, tracks holding up well. A few leaves in the tracks but nothing major.

The trails are pretty blown over and very hard to ski on, since your tips get very blown over. No formal classic tracks.

Skied each of the Green, Purple and Orange loops. Nice trail layout, no classic tracks laid. I skated and surface was fine, a bit quicker than fair due to refreeze of last few days. New snow will be welcome. Too bad the nicely groomed, very wide trails are disturbed by inconsiderate hikers and a couple fat tire bike riders. Still worth a visit. Hopefully those inconsiderate park users will move off to some other the other trails, there are plenty for everyone at this park. Good coverage but some possible spots to hit asphalt so listing this as B skis.

I visited the park Thursday afternoon/evening. They had done a coarse grooming after the 7" we had a week or so ago and then groomed in the recent snowfall. No classic track set, but the corduroy is in decent shape through most of the park, with thin spots here and there. If you have a pair of rock skis, I'd definitely give it a shot.
