All trails still good. We rolled the ski trail and hiking trail. Good coverage all around. Was not able to put down fresh machine-made classic tracks. Working on getting the machine fixed.

Disappointed no classic tracks set yet. The skier made tracks are pretty poor. Skied the entire loop.

The full 4k trail was freshly groomed overnight with the usual two turnoffs. The skate deck was firm and in great shape. No classical tracks set, but it looks like there is enough depth for them to be set soon.

Hiawatha is groomed, and I am hoping the skate deck sets up overnight. We are having issues with our groomer, so there is no classic track set. We will get that resolved ASAP. Enjoy!

Groomed fresh Trails this morning but the snow keeps coming down. We will try to stay ahead of it. We did lay down classic tracks today so that should be better.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Good skis ]
Relatively good conditions given the snow conditions and recent wind. No classic tracks set, but decent skier-made tracks. Skate deck a bit soft, so not particularly fast'but still enjoyable. There are 3 or 4 spots on the trail where grass shows through, but totally avoidable. So great to have a ski option available in SE Minneapolis. Thanks, groomers and park staff!

Looks great, but it is cold. Stay warm out there. Ski trails and walking trails have been freshly rolled and are ready to go. There are no classic tracks set via machine right now. Full coverage, some minimal drifting, but should be in good shape. Nothing better than skiing on real snow!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The Hiawatha grooming team was out 3 times today, and the course is rolled. The wind is blowing hard so there will be drifted areas in the morning. It's setting up nicely for grooming tomorrow and hopefully classic tracks. We have a lesson area down the hill to the left. Dog walkers, hikers, bikers, skijorers and snowshoers have their very own groomed trail on the inside loop!

The ski loop and non-ski loop were rolled and packed over the noon hour today after approximately 4 inches of great new fluffy stuff. Snow continues to fall and wind continues to blow. The base is really solid, no bare spots at all.

Skied the 4k loop this morning about 10 am, my first time at Hiawatha this year. Thanks to Mike for rolling the trails. Very nice, but the edges were cutting through to grass and ice sometimes, hope this is just the base we needed and that more snow is on the way. Have really missed being able to pop over to Hiawatha and practice in the wide open spaces.
