The entire trail system was 100% groomed this morning (by 9am) after the wet (and slow) dusting from Sunday night. Beautiful!
FYI-There is a minimum of a foot of base over the bridge crossings. Time it correctly-right skis and wax-and it's excellent!

Skated all the trails. Things were getting warm in the afternoon but the skate deck remained firm. Glide was good but a bit slow. Pincushion loop deck was a bit uneven due to hikers footprints, but the rest of the system was great. Tracks looked firm but a little glazed. Hopefully continued good condition thru warmer temps.

First time at Pincushion! The lady friend and I skied the Snowman Loops in the morning. Hills are heftier here than they are at my local golf course, at least for this beginner! The tracks were delightfully deep, with scant debris (pine cones, mostly). We skied again in the evening as dusk was approaching, it was a lovely and magical scene on the lighted track of the West Overlook loop. Tracks were top notch here as well.
