The track was great on Upper and Lower Snowman, West Overlook and Canyon Curves. I had good kick and fast glides. The track was firm and well formed.

Beautiful out this afternoon, trails were in really great shape. Used -11 to 10 degree F wax and glided really nicely. Would recommend getting out and braving the cold!

Many trails were tracked (not groomed) and continued to get tracked through the day. Even as the snow accumulated. Slow going. Plenty of powder to fall in on the black hills, very fun.

I skied the Pincushion Loop and conditions were perfect—crisp classic tracks and a corduroy skate lane. It was extra-blue heaven, with great kick and great glide.

It was like skiing in three climate zones in one outing. On Pincushion Loop I skied in about 1/2" of fresh damp snow. Track below was good, so glide and kick were ok on whole loop. From M/L through Canyon Curves on my second loop the fresh snow in tracks were clumping bad to my waxless kick zone. Then it was misting when I got to Upper and Lower Snowman and West Overlook. They had great glide and kick. The stadium area was fogging over as I finished.
