The trail weaves its course through ever changing scenery dominated by maples, then birch, pine and hemlock. It oversees two river basins: the Prairie flowing west and Hunting flowing east.

[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The Moccasin Ski Trail was groomed and tracked on Thursday and is in excellent condition for both skate and classical skiing. The snowshoe trail was also packed. The Elcho X-C Ski Clubs 27th Annual Ski Junket will be held this Saturday, Jan. 27 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mel's Trading Post will be there with equipment to use. Meet at Michelle's Lodge in the parking lot.

Well groomed trails with cold powder snow. Anita and I had a great ski in the sun and wind. Thanks to Elcho Ski club for the excellent grooming here!

The Moccasin Ski Trail was dragged today but not tracked. The trail in in good condition except the Luge loop is rough. The dedication of Michelle's Lodge will be on Saturday, Dec 30th from 1 to 4 p.m.

Trail was groomed today, but a track was not set. Conditions were pretty good, although there were some soft spots and a horse appeared to have used part of the trail. Snow coverage was good, but there are still several uneven spots. Only a few bare spots.
