Grooming [ Trails Open: All, ]
|
After 8" of snow Wednesday, the trails were groomed for the first time this season. The tracks are in very good condition. A few places are a little thin, but no rocks or roots. It was beautiful out there today.
A few changes this year: Old Baldy is closed until spring. The stairs are icy and treacherous. The trail that goes through the meadow is now part of the yellow loop. The hillier portion is groomed and is designated the "yellow spur". The red trail still is double groomed and begins as always by the nature center. It is a up and back with a connector segment to the yellow and green loops. Come out to enjoy the Park ski trails. The Black Trail is available for hiking and snowshoeing.
