Nose Lake provided recently groomed, albeit well used 3/4 depth tracks today. This track provides an easy meander thru the woods, great to introduce skiers to the sport. Carpe Skiem!

Strided the well tracked West Loop. Super clean surface, excellent pole plant, plenty of snow. Kudo's to the Oneida County crew that tends to both Nose Lake and Cassian! Carpe Skiem!

First time at Nose Lake, really enjoyed it! This track offers very little grade, but great 3/4 depth tracks that you can just fly on! Carpe Skiem!

Phenomenal conditions. Firm pole plants, perfectly set track. I only skied the west side but the east side looked just as good.

Skied the east loop this afternoon. After not skiing last year, the trail was a skiers delight. Lots of great gliding, firm tracks, almost no debris in the trail. Considering we received no new snow this week, the trail groomed up like we received about 3". Have fun on this trail.

Skied the east loop. Good conditions. Tracks a little soft, oak leaves and needles in the tracks. Beautiful snow covered forest.

Conditions were great and the smaller loop (3.6 miles) was good. A little difficult in some spots seeing the trail but that more than likely has to do with our headlights. Small loop is groomed and looked like many folks have been using it, we only ran into two others.

I skied the west loop. Overall in great shape. Talked with Dennis the groomer on the trail. He had a mechanical issue on the grooming machine. 90% of the track is set. The east side loop is rolled but no track set due to the groomer issue.
