Great day for a ski after yesterday's snow. Groomed today. Tracks were in great shape. Skate deck had a ridge down the middle in parts of the prairie trails, but it was improved from last week.

Very icy ski today. Green trail: Classic - the icy tracks would have been fast and fun but there was so much debris. Blue trail: Classic- extremely fast and icy, double polling was the only pull that worked as striding was too icy. Switched to skate and had a much easier ski. Skate deck was fast and icy but not rolled- lots of ice balls.

Not bad, given the thaw/freeze conditions the last two days. The skate deck is quite good. It looks as though they dragged the skate lane though did not roll it. As it gets skied more it will be really a good ski. If it gets rolled that would be perfect. There is a little twig and stick debris visible with the thaw, but not too much. The classic tracks are in good condition but look very icy. It would require klister to get any kick in most sections, but the tracks are still very defined and in good shape. Skated 15 K and it was great. Oh! It does not look as if they dragged the nature loop, and that appears to be pretty icy for any technique. Nonetheless, kudos to the Lake K staff for dealing with the frozen surface from the warm weather on Thursday.

Great classic tracks! Skate deck was a little soft, and had a largish ridge in many stretches. Overall, very good.

Awesome conditions; the best in years. I hope you get out there Saturday morning! Grooming was pretty good. Excellent coverage and all trails open.

Enjoyed the scenery, 4 degrees and fresh tracks. The cold, fresh snow wasn't super fast but definitely skiable. The skate trail had a crevice running the entire way which made skating interesting but doable. Beautiful trails, saw 5 deer staring at me as I went by. Only one other skier on the trail. First time skiing here and I'll be back.
