[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Unlike my pants in high school..the corduroy here was awesome! A little soft yet post recent snow, but the scenery was immaculate and being the first one out on newly groomed trails is a great feeling! Skated, but the classic track looked nice (a little thin under the first set of lines on the blue trail). Skate deck is 100% covered, no ice and zero debris. Thanks out to the staff...always love my time at Tommy Thompson State Park!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails were packed, groomed and tracked. We had no rain and 6-8 inches of new snow yesterday. Classic track is excellent and the skate lanes may have some soft spots but are in very good condition. Great skiing here!

I skate skied most of the trails today and conditions are great! Skating was fast in the warm weather and a jumped into the tracks were I could and they are firm and fast. It was a good ski!

We had a lot of rain and then a couple of inches of new snow. Trails held up fairly well. I re-groomed and set new track on the middle trails. The big loop track is still holding up, all it needs is someone to ski it in. Skate lanes are hard and fast. Conditions are fair to good.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We had a couple of inches of new snow and I re-groomed the skate lanes. The classic tracks were already skied in on most of the trails and they are in really good shape, so I left the tracks alone. Trails are in good condition for the weekend.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I went skiing with my dad and the trails were great! There were two spots in the beginning of the trail where some grass was showing but after you got onto the main part of the trial, it was very nice. There were tracks set, which I as a classic skier appreciate, and the rest of the trail was groomed for my dad to skate ski on. We did the Otter loop twice.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I finished grooming after dark. Trails are groomed, packed and tracks on Otter Trail and the outer loop. The hills trail is groomed but untracked. The classic tracks and the skate lanes look great, overall conditions are good with thin snow in the pine plantations.

The trails were a little soft, but good overall conditions for my first ski of the year. After a couple of warmer winters, it's really nice that the first ski is before Christmas! Think (more) snow!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails were packed and rolled today. Trails will be a little soft but have great snow coverage and very little debris or vegetation showing through the trail base. We will set tracks hopefully after the next snow.
