Trail Reports

2018-2019 season
Reports 9 to 12 of 12    Month: Mar | Feb | Jan

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trails were groomed and tracked today and are in fair to good condition. Maple Leaf Way still has some vegetation protruding through the snow, but the other trails are in good condition. All the previously icy spots are now covered on all trails. The trails are much less bumpy than before and have smoothed out fairly nicely. Still hoping for more snow to cover up the little bumps that may remain.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, Rock skis ]
Trails were groomed but very icy away from the loop near the river. The trail by the river is very nice for skating with some scattered debris. Away from the river it is very icy but fast with lots of debris. This will be a nice ski if we get a few more inches of snow.

Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: Most, B skis ]
Skied along the river and back to the parking lot and it was fast and smooth- very nice. Just a spot or two with ice for a few feet. Hopefully a little more snow to cover the trail vegetation sneaking thru will come soon.

Afternoon
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
All trails have been rolled and groomed. Overall trail conditions are poor to fair, with the riverside and aspen ridge trails being in the best condition. The riverside and aspen ridge trails do have classic track on them. Maple leaf trail has a good amount of vegetation sticking up through the snow. In general, there are areas where water had pooled up and froze in some of the lower areas, so there is ice on the trails, most of which can be skied around. Hoping for more snow in the near future.
