10" new snow since I groomed Monday evening. It was challenging to get the Grant-in-Aid trails packed as the deep snow made it easy to get stuck. Also did a couple passes on the biathlon trails with the PistenBully. Trails are in awesome shape (albeit maybe a bit soft, depending on how things set up), and the woods are beautiful with the deep snow (somewhere between knee and thigh deep if you step off the trails). Come out and ski!

Freshly groomed trails in stadium area, lower loops and Service Road, Alpine and Bunny Hill are good for either classic or skate. All other GIA trails are icy and hazardous.

The entire system has been groomed to perfection with set tracks, lots of them for the MSYL skiers on Sunday. Enjoy! Warm temps and refreeze will make for some fast skiing on the smooth surface. This morning there was just enough texture get an edge.

All trails open and groomed for skate and classic. Grooming was completed at sunset Friday. Previously groomed trails were drifted from the wind through the night Thursday and all were re-groomed today. Trail is in excellent condition!

75% of the trails were packed and groomed today with Piston Bully with classic tracks set and skate lane in beautiful shape. Still need to pack and groom the rest of the Grant-in-Aid trails tomorrow with Tidd Tech. Plan to set track on remaining trails tomorrow.

It snowed throughout the day. Morning skate skiing was great when the snow was only an inch deep over 2" base of hardpack snow/ice. By afternoon snow accumulation of 3" made skate skiing a little more work than classic. Track set on 1 k of man-made snow. Groomer packed trails late afternoon and more grooming tonight and early tomorrow morning. Merry Christmas!
