Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
It snowed throughout the day. Morning skate skiing was great when the snow was only an inch deep over 2" base of hardpack snow/ice. By afternoon snow accumulation of 3" made skate skiing a little more work than classic. Track set on 1 k of man-made snow. Groomer packed trails late afternoon and more grooming tonight and early tomorrow morning. Merry Christmas!

Man-made snow nicely groomed with track set. 1 k.
Natural snow has been packed on the rest of the 10 k system and is very skiable.
Bunny Hill on the Alpine venue has also been packed but needs a little more snow to ensure safe descent.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Both
[ Good skis ]
Snowmaking loop of 1.5k open and groomed for both classic and skate. Can use A skis. Skated yesterday, very good conditions. Classic skied today, firm tracks holding up well. Skate deck pretty hard today after the warmup late last week and mist yesterday. Also, several kilometers of trails open off the man-made snow, but conditions somewhat more variable, wouldn't use my good skis off the snowmaking loop.
