Perfect conditions for skate at Irondale this morning. Perfect grooming. Great coverage, extremely clean. Very few sticks and leaves.

Condition were remarkably good, very nice. The skate deck is nicely firm with some softer spots, and, thankfully, almost no icy spots. This trail is a gem! Get out there and ski it while it's in A+ condition.

Amazing conditions at Irondale over lunch hour today. Groomer did a fantastic job converting the icy conditions to a firm base with with just enough loose snow on the top layer for solid control around those fast and tight super fun corners. Great job. What a blast! Bring you good skis. Thank you very much!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Entire trail was groomed and should ski well. Took out the classic tracks as they didn't appear very skiable. Didn't reset tracks as there really isn't enough snow on top of the underlying ice from all the rain and melt.

Observation
[ Trails: Closed, B skis ]
With all the rain, the trail is pretty icy and rutted. We had a grooming part break over the weekend. New part was ordered and we hope to have it late today. Grooming plans: We hope to groom tomorrow and try to get the trail back up and running.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Entire trail is groomed and set with new tracks. Classic tracks sure set better in snow than ice. The fluffy snow is still plenty soft so personally I think classic skiing might be better than skate for awhile.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Rolled the trail twice today and combed it once. Not surprisingly, it's very soft but a lot more skiable than the ice we were dealing with before this gift of snow.
Grooming plans: Hopefully got enough air out of this fluffy snow that I can groom and set tracks tomorrow.

We have some bare ground and hard ice - our grooming equipment just can't break up the ice.... Trails are closed until we get more snow...

Grooming

Trail groomed as well as hard conditions will allow. Classic track was reset - pretty shallow tracks with hard snow. Skate deck groomed up a little better.
