We tenderized and groomed the east side this morning. The warm weather had iced the track and the grooming brought up a nice snow track. Enjoy the snow.

I finished grooming the west portion of the trail. Now the whole outer loop (17 km) is groomed along with the first two cut through (on the east side). What was groomed yesterday had set up very firm. This is the most snow on the trail in years so get and and enjoy. Since there is 2.5-3' in the woods the deer were using it since I was grooming yesterday.

We have had over 10" of new since Friday. The east 7 km have been groomed, compacted and groomed again today. Hopefully there is enough compaction to set a firm track with cold temps tonight. The west 10km have been compacted and hopefully will be firm enough in the morning to groom. In the last 8 days we have had nearly 20" of snow. Hopefully this will allow great skiing thru the next couple of weeks.

We groomed the whole trail system this afternoon. We had another 6" of snow covering the trail with excellent snow. Base on trail is now 5" or more with 14" or more in the woods. We packed the whole outer loop with at least 2 passes. We will have to see if it hardens up well enough or if it needs more compaction. All the cut thrus were groomed once. Best snow and track in some time, get out and enjoy.

We had 3-4" of new snow that I groomed in the whole outer loops of the trail. It was a winter wonderland out there with the nicest snow in over a month.

I groomed the first 3 loops from the parking lot this morning. Ginzu did great job except under the pines where the ice was just too hard to cut and get a deep track. While there are a few spots with dirt mixed in snow it is always only one track that has the dirt spots. Unfortunately a group went thru right after grooming on the first loop, as there where no set up time most of the track on the up hills spots got washed out already. I marked B skis mostly of the icy spots. 80% of the track is very good, 10 % ok, and 10% icy and it was hard to get hard kick wax to grip.

Groomed all 11 miles of the outer loop and the first 2 cut thrus on the east side today. We had about 2.5" that I groomed in. Conditions are very good. No bare spots, but some places have leaves and needles mixed in the snow. A few spots the new snow was not enough to set full depth tracks. Get out and enjoy!

Another 2" to 3" of new snow from last night was groomed today. Trail is in great shape, with over a foot of snow on the ground now. A few oak leaves blow in the tracks in a few spots, along with some pine needles under the dense pines, but the trail is the best condition it has been in for the last few years. Come and enjoy a winter wonder land.
