Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied both inner & outer loops just before Noon, all trails were groomed for both skate & classic. The classic tracks were about 70% defined, with some segments worn flat from use/recent weather, but no bare ground. Skate deck looked good and the groomer was out working hard while we were there. Uploading a picture of the posted trail map sign here in case it is useful to anyone.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
I completed two trips around the outside classic track and overall the tracks were very good. There was a small section that was blown over due to the wind but overall the tracks were very good. Beautiful sunny day.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomer has returned from a Christmas break! Spent quite a few hours packing and leveling everything. Classic track is set and laid down some flat, fast, firm corduroy vines on the skate deck. Was setting up nicely by the time I called it a night.

Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Skied the course late morning, no set track. Beautiful, but not for beginners or out of shape; busting trail all the way.

Trails well groomed and setting up nicely with the fresh snow. Good Classic and skating conditions, a few wind blown spots, but overall great coverage and super grip. The skins performed well with blue Fast Wax glide. Thank you groomers for settins some great tracks.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The fresh snow made for a soft deck that was a bit hard to follow. Skiers were out setting tracks the old-fashioned way, breaking trails with big smiles. So, it was beautiful, but slow.

Soft but great ski deck for skate. Classic trails pretty good too. A little mushy in spots and frozen groomer tracks here and there. Great job, Mitch.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Spent a few hours working in the new snow. Skate deck is soft, as expected, and will take a bit to get leveled out to my standards. Set a classic track and it was better than expected. There are some small patches of slush and ice here and there, but overall it turned out better than expected given the warm wet snow.

Grooming Scheduling
[ Trails: Closed, Bare ground ]
Please stay off the trails in the short term to preserve better conditions in the long term. We don't want to compresss th snow and create conditions that will turn to water ice when the temperature drops. We will watch the temps and snow conditions closely over the next few days and hopefully can get a nice course set as soon and mother nature allows.
