Trail Reports

2017-2018 season

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
No track is set for classic since the last wind storm. The sides of the trail are a bit squishy so it's hard to get decent kick. You're pretty much snow shoeing on the sides. I also keep seeing tire marks on the trail. I figured it was the city doing that horse drawn wagon thing but there aren't any hoof marks that I see; so I'm thinking someone thinks it's a pretty sweet shortcut or a great way to get into nature.... either way it's ruining the trail this year.

Night
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Trail conditions are good but the trail needs to be groomed. More folks are classic skiing so a track is starting to develop, which is good. Overall good skiing!

Evening
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
No real track set. I think someone has been driving on the trail. Ski trail needs to be groomed but overall skiing was fast and the trail was free of debris.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Track has been roll packed and it is pretty firm. No classic tracks have been set. There is only a 4-5" base at most. I did not ski but the deck seems firm enough to ski and not break through to the asphalt.
