Afternoon

The trail was in very good shape. Just a little soft on some of the pole plants but the track was nice and firm and could be held on most downhill turns.

Packed and tracked all trails except for Long Lake and Snag loops. We will hit those tomorrow afternoon when the temps rise a little.

Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
There is about 100 feet of the Snag loop that is flooded. Ice from the adjacent creek must have dammed up and the creek overflowed. Would recommend not skiing Snag loop until we get more snow. The rest of the trail system is ok.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
+21F, no wind. East Loop and Rajala good while thunder and finnish were uneven with many leaves/twigs. Snow was packed with a light covering of powder, excellent glide, just watch where you put your ski.

Grooming is great. Some parts of the trail look pristine and some are very uneven with vegetation sticking through. We really need a few more inches of snow. Didn't stop several other people from skiing either. Have to enjoy the above zero weather.
