Reports 7 to 16 of 17    Month: Mar | Feb | Jan | Dec

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Joanie and I had a late afternoon ski on the northern part of this trail system. It was somewhat worn with some debris since it was last groomed, but still a fun ski. There are some massive pines here as well as some attractive oak woodlands in the 5k portion that we did.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails groomed and tracked. We have had lots of snow lately and the tracks will be soft until they have time to set up. All fat bike trails are also groomed. Get out and enjoy this wonderful property.

I skied (classic, waxless) all the loops except the "Hilly Loop" which had no tracks set. Trail conditions are very good, you bet.

HASTA trails received 2-3 inches of fluffy snow. All loops were groomed and tracks were set. The tracks are shallow in places, and there is pine needles and leaf debris on the trail and tracks in places.

[ Good skis ]
Skied from the hospital road lot around the hilly loop and back. A little glazed in some open areas and a bit thin in the pine plantation near the lot, but mostly pretty decent skiing. Some oak leaves and a couple or three bare spots (easily avoidable). VR45 was kicking really well at about 10 am.

I skied all the loops, waxless. Tracks are good except Lake View loop is only fair (some drifts and some thin spots). A few leaves and needles, but won't spoil your day. Good skiing, you bet.
