Wowzer....more snow. We tried to haul the Ginzus around but could not make it. Returned to get a drag and the roller and then things went very nicely. It was warm (my feet got hot!) and sunny after a couple of hours - a perfect day on the trail. We rolled all segments twice. Looking at the tracks made by a lone skater, the base was setting up well. It would be peachy if it stopped snowing enough to get everything groomed and tracked and solid. Try again tomorrow.

We have received over 14" of snow in the past 2 weeks. After packing with sleds on Thursday, using the drag and roller on Friday, skiing the Park Black Bay trails on Saturday, the Ginzu boys spent about 6 hours today in relatively mild weather (minus 8 to start then mostly above zero) on the Tilson Trails and we're finally able to groom and set tracks on all trails. All set, looks great!

Snow, more snow. We received close to a foot of dry snow on Sunday and Monday. In cold and windy conditions on Tuesday, with a small drag running ahead we were just barely able to pull the roller. But we managed to make two circuits on all trails. One skater had followed our first lap so that we were able to judge how the snow had packed - we were surprised to see a fairly hard surface. More snow is predicted for today and Thursday so tracking may have to wait.

Classic ski at -11F. The trail was freshly groomed the day before. It was slow because of the temperature. There is more than 15" of snow on the ground. Nice to be outside even on a cold day.

Lots of snow in the past week, probably 7" or more. We rolled and packed for 2 days and finally groomed today. Cold! Minus 16 or so but sunny. Used both Ginzus and covered skate lanes and set tracks on all trails. Everything looks good but tracks are shallow on the Green - we think because the snow was too firm.

We received about 3" of wet snow in the Sunday night "big" storm. On Tuesday we used both Ginzus to groom and track everything. The Blue Return is still bumpy but it's quite useable now. We also put up the "parking this way" signs and kilometer markers.

We had 3 inches of new snow last night. The trail was not groomed because it was 34 degrees. Skied the orange and yellow trail with wax less RCS skis. It was slow but warm day. The trail will be groomed tomorrow when the temperature cools into the 20's.

Great day running both Ginzus for the first time. Groomed and tracked all trail segments except for Blue Return which we rolled. It's fine for skating but uneven. With cold weather the trail should set up. We had to repair some damage at the trailhead where a truck drove onto the trail, but it cleaned up ok and after the next snowfall should be gone.

The Falls received about 8" in the storm. We packed on Thursday and rolled all trails including Red and Blue Hill #1 for skating on Friday. Yesterday, Saturday, the skate deck was fairly firm but slow in the cold. There will be a few low snow spots over rocks. We will use Ginzus to groom and reset tracks on Monday.
