They opened Frog Town loop! Someone said the trail is now at 3k, I'd guess at least 2.5k. Very nice conditions for skating this morning and the track looked pretty good too. Thanks TRP!

Skied with hopes of a longer trail being available - alas they had a big sign at the Frog Pond loop saying trail closed snowmaking in progress. Looks like they had the grooming equipment out that way. For the loop they have open - the conditions were great for man made snow. Tracks for classic skiing were well set. Skate deck was firm with about an inch of loose stuff on top.

[ Good skis ]
Snowmaking loop had good conditions around noon, though my old skis felt a little draggy. The loop is pretty short still, Elm Creek and Wirth might be better options if you live on the north end. Saw the legendary Roy Carlsted out striding!

Great condition on the man-made trail. Looks like they should have frog pond open soon. Lots of people enjoying the well groomed snow.
