Stunning conditions throughout Hyland this morning. Man-made loop is perfect (firm, fast), and the natural snow loops are the firmest and best I've seen this season. There are 3 or 4 patches of brown/orange, but easy to avoid so no issue using good skis. Classic tracks look good throughout as well.

Hyland was well-groomed over all the trails. The skate deck was wide and firm and free of debris. The classic tracks were very good throughout. There were a couple of wet spots in low lying areas exposed to sun where the slush peeked through. The rails were easy to ski with good enough grip using twin skin skis. It was bright and sunny and not crowded, a strange feeling at Hyland as I'm used to the parade of skiers on the manufactured snow loop. The trail conditions were as good as I've ever seen them. Terrific maintenance.

Setting up for the Slush Rush Saturday morning we were greeted with perfect Pisten Bully grooming through out the whole Hyland Trail system. Classic tracks were great with a few of the usual Hyland oak leaves. We were able to use the natural snow trails. Kudos to the Hyland grooming crew and staff. Get out there!

Great conditions this morning at Hyland. 15F, light if any wind, grooming immaculate on manmade loop and North Trail. Few skiers out. Maybe the last perfect day of a great season for me.

Skied in mid morning on pristine corduroy thanks to the Hyland Lake Park groomers. The only tracks were from deer until more folks braved the wind chills in late morning.

Classic skied late morning early afternoon. The man made loops were perfect. Very few skiers out. The North and Nature trail do not seem to have been groomed today (neither for skate nor classic). Lots of footprints on Nature trail. Dead piston bully blocking Lake trail, near Oak knob.
