Skied the Lake Trail at Hyland around 5 pm Wednesday. Perfect conditions for classic with blue extra kick wax. Tracks were packed and in good condition. Two or three spots where the outside track was soft and the outside pole sunk a few inches. Other than that, perfect day for skiing with ideal snow conditions and minimal wind. Skate looks soft, but good.

Gorgeous, quiet, nice tracks. The first grooming sweep this morning was for classic so there was only an inch in the tracks. So fun to ski the hill trail and north trail with friends.

Plenty of fresh snow at Hyland! Classic was the way to go today since the entire park was tracked. The skate deck was soft. Great to see Snow Guru, Paul Thompson, and partner Mindy, enjoying the winter wonderland and celebrating Mindy's 50th birthday.

Good afternoon ski with the fresh snow! Grooming proper to today's snowfall provided a good base, and trails were well used to say so both skate and classic were good to go!
