Eagle Point was very good. It had been groomed but was soft. I and those who preceded me were breaking through pretty frequently. Nice sunset. I used FastWax Blue LF.

Classic ski on the Brown and Orange trails on the east side at about 3:30PM. Coverage was complete, the tracks were in great shape. I used Grip Tape Universal and a little Toko Blue and had good grip. The skate deck looked pretty soft but I didn't ski it. Pretty much perfect.

Couldn't be any better. Perfect tracks, snow had already set by noon, so not slow. Skied most of the east side trails, and in my opinion, the best it has been in many many years. Thank you to the groomers who were out at 5am rolling and tracking.

Groomers have packed and tracked the trails on the east side of the park. The skate deck is somewhat soft. Tracks look great. Good coverage after our 9 inches of snow yesterday.

Good trail conditions overall. But skate lane hard and a bit skittish. Ruts beginning to form. Looks like many days since last groomed.

Skied Green, Yellow/Orange, and Red loops. Great tracks and the skate deck looked solid, but given the wind and mild temperatures this past weekend, the oak trees decided to drop their leaves. Lots of leaves in the tracks. Groomers have done a very nice job with the snow.

Wood ski romp. The polished track and deck was perfect for the woodies. Short on time so it was the Green Trail only. The only real slow spot was the link north of Brown's Pond. Woodies climbed the hills in stride, no herringbone. I saw two skiers on a busy Saturday. Skis were set up with Terva Black Tar for both kick and glide. Roto cork the tar for glide, apply as usual for kick. 20 degrees and no wind. What a day to ski!

Skied all the East side trails from the Nordic Center around 9am. Groomers were on the trail yesterday around noon. Must've had a lot of traffic after that. So skate deck was packed and fast this morning, but great! Classic tracks were great too!
