The classic track was in good shape. Skied the Silver and Ski Game trails and other than a little bit of debris, both in good shape. The Games trail was a bit worn for skating but still quite a few skiers out and about. We did a light dusting this morning that helped with the grip.

Bronze, silver and gold trails have new cord for skating. Existing classic tracks still in good shape except for some oak leaves and a few bare-ish spots. Only one small icy patch on first south-facing downhill along Winthrop.

Dave and I groomed all trails this morning, most of it before the temp rose above freezing. Skate lane and classic tracks are all in nice condition. Just a couple of thin spots but will cause no problems right now.

Good conditions for classic on the Ski Games trail, track was solid and intact. Started to soften in sun exposed areas on my third time around. Nice trail for working on your double poling. Hopefully will get some snow after the warmup to replenish the well maintained base. Thanks groomers for your dedication in maintaining these trails.

Skied Gold and Ski Games trails and both in good shape, but Ski Games recently groomed and a real treat. Skate deck fast and firm. Some debree from the wind but not a big deal.

Groomed the skate deck on both Silver and Bronze Trails and they are in excellent shape. The classic track is also very good on both trails. We will groom the rest of the trails tomorrow morning so get out there before the next warm up.

Grooming was done Saturday night on all but the Ski Games trail. New tracks were set on the World Cup and Gold trails on the back side. Tracks on the Bronze and Silver trails are still in good condition. The snow should setup nicely overnight and be "game on" Sunday.

All trails were groomed this morning for skate. Tracks were not reset but they are in good condition with oak leaf debris at various locations being somewhat of an issue. Take evasive action as needed. All in all the conditions at Battle Creek West are excellent with good skis recommended. Quite a few skiers out this afternoon taking in the sunshine and skiing on the most abundant snow we have seen in several years. Enjoy!

Great conditions at Battle Creek. Probably the best the trails have been in years. Used A-skis with no worries. Skate deck is firming up and the classic tracks were firm, full depth, and had very little debris in them.

All skate trail were combed out including the Ski Games trail. Tracks were not touched, they are holding up well. Look for good ski conditions at BC Tuesday!
