Saturday Morning Dryland Workouts at Hyland

The long tradition of Saturday morning workouts at the Hyland Lake Park downhill ski area will continue this fall. The first workout is Saturday, September 12. We'll meet at the downhill area at 8:30 am every Saturday morning until the snow comes, and we can get back on real snow. This is Bjorn Lasserud's famous method of preparing for the winter ski season. Bjorn is there infrequently these days, but you may catch a glimpse of him now and then over the course of the fall. The workout will be led by Ken Tobacman and Tom Anderson, who have faithfully held to Bjorn's workout routine for the last few years.

Workouts run from 8:30 am to about 10:30 am. Bring sturdy shoes and chest to shoulder length ski poles. All are welcome to participate. Note that while skiers at various levels of fitness have always participated, this is a moderately to very intense workout.
