Conditions: 26*F; above; cloudy skis; 1 to 2 inch fluff snow covering on trails from current week snow showers; 20k skate lanes renovated and combed; tracks on 20k system have light snow fill; 3k classic trail reset tracks; average 7” packed powder base; conditions rated as excellent. We are going on two weeks and the forest canopy is still a sight to behold. With milder temps and snow showers forecast for the upcoming weekend I do not know if it could get any better. I just had to send the photo in from last Saturday of the two Glamour Girls (as they put it) who were following me up while setting track.

Conditions: 15*F above; baby blue skies; 20K now groomed for skate skiing; 20k now groomed for classic skiing; average 5 to 7 inch packed powder base; forest canopy snow covered for most part; conditions rated as very good. We have completed grooming the main trail system and conditions are excellent both on the ground and on the surrounding forest. At present the base on trails cleared, roll packed, and groomed today is a little punchy however hoping with colder overnight temps it will be firmed up for tomorrow.

Conditions: Clear Skis; 5*F above; 6K loop, Wolf Run, Bucks Run, and Lost Bobcat now groomed for skate & classic skiing; average 5 to 7 inch packed powder base; twigs and leaves here and there through out the groomed trails; condition rated as good to very good. With a lot of extra help I was able to complete clearing the above mentioned network of trails for grooming today. With the exception of a branch here and there leaning out over trails, with all the snow still on the trees it is very nice out in the forest. We will be working on other sections of trail system tomorrow.

Conditions: 1*F above; hazy early morning skis; up to 10” new snow from this past weekend and Monday; 8” of fresh powder snow on trail surface; numerous trees and brush extending into trail; work continues on packing and clearing. Our snow event this past weekend gave us a much needed shot of fresh snow however with the heavy wet snow that preceded the colder temps numerous young trees and brush plants have folded into the trails. Work is ongoing to clear these areas so our final grooming can take place. Current conditions are now, skiing on roll pack surface or in 8” of fresh snow. Please note that photos show pre clearing conditions and after clearing.

Conditions: 15*F above; light snow falling; blustery NW wind; over 8" of new snow from weekend weather event; trails and forest covered in a blanket of white. The weather system delivered a magnificent blanket of snow this past weekend and still continues to snow today. Trails are picturesque. Our first 5" of snow on Saturday was of the heavy wet category and the 3" we have now received over night is the white powder type. Due to the milder temps holding on through the weekend grooming will begin today so stay tuned.
