Skated the Maples Hill section and portions of the Oaks. The Camp received ~ 3/4 inch of snow overnight which covered up some of the wind debris that has been accumulating. I spoke with one of the groomers about their plans for the upcoming storm: they intend to roll the course during the storm and early tomorrow, and then groom the trails during the afternoon. It is going to nice to put away the rock skis! Carpe Skiem.

Variable skiing conditions. The Oaks, the hill section of the Maples, and the main streets offer good to very good conditions for skating. Skaters should stay away from the back stretches of PERs Loop and The Birches -- thin with lots of debris. Frankly, I was amazed on how nice it was! The groomers have done wonders with the roughly 1 inch we received in the past week! Carpe Skiem.

Poor conditions but skiable. No tracks set; only skate deck groomed. Oaks was pretty dirty throughout the trail with icy section near biathlon. Maples was in slightly better shape with the exception of a few places in the very back of the Per's loop. The fat bike race had no impact on trail. If fact, I think the bikes might have help break up the icy slightly to allow a better edge.

Skated Maples and Birches. Trails combed this morning (thank you groomers). Some areas were fair and others approached "good." Better than last Tuesday. Note: still poor on last half of Birches, last half of Maples/Per's Loop. No classic tracks due to sparse coverage.

The Camp remains in poor condition due lack of snow. The Camp remains open due the groomers continued best efforts. Thank you groomers! Open for skate only. Rock skis only. You will encounter all kinds of conditions: ice, heavy wind debris, thin areas, and some stretches of surprisingly good skiing. The main thoroughfares offer very nice coverage. One thing for sure, you will have a solid pole plant. Ski with caution. Carpe Skiem.
