Great morning to be out on the trails. A little debris under the spruce trees at the start, but the rest of trail in great condition for skating. Only section not recently groomed was the outside passage loop, but rest was great. Classical tracks looked good still. Not ready for winter to end.

With the warm weather that was on Friday the trails became icy and hard to bite on tight corners. As the day progresses the warm weather is softening the snow and makes it better there are some areas showing dirt but avoidable there is enough snow if it cools down and the groomers get out they should be able to make a good trail again.

Jack Lake Trails are in excellent condition. There are a few dirty spots, especially at the beginning where there was some trail damage, but all are easily avoided. The skate deck was very good and tracks appeared to be in excellent shape. As usual the groomer did a great job with the new snow.

Enjoyable skiing Tuesday afternoon. A few spots with debris but easily avoided. Groomer was out when I left - very good conditions.

Overall - rough going. Not groomed. Someone drove a truck on the trail and created deep ruts, making some of the trails treacherous. Several trails were smooth and even, making part of the experience delightful. Warming house is great.

Green loop has been rolled at least and is not tracked. Trail coverage was pretty good except where a logging road has cut though the trail. The path on the road was not well marked and the snow coverage on the road was poor. With a little more snow and grooming the trails should be in good shape.
