Conditions: Excellent! Trail groomed this morning.
Tracks are almost in perfect condition. There may be some drifting into the tracks because of the wind and loose snow.

  Conditions: Fair.
Trail groomed Monday night on hard pack/crust. Ski track didn't cut in very well.

  Conditions: Scratched up and re-trackset.
Since I can't ski right now, I brought my daughter along to ski and assess the conditions. Before grooming: "Awful! Icy!" After grooming: "Better, I guess." A cotter pin on the tracksetter came out at some point, and I'm sure the track is pretty jiggity from wherever that happened.

Conditions: Groomed on Saturday. Very nice classic track.
This is as good or better than one could expect after all the rain. It set up well. Many deer have also been using the trail. I wouldn't recommend race skis, but if you have some no-wax skis, it is good skiing--just don't expect a powder track or a soft powder landing if you fall.
I am not sure of the best place to park. UMD has not plowed much yet. Perhaps parking on St. Marie Street is the closest option.
