At Bearskin I skied Summer Home and part of Beaver Dam. At 40F and sunny the snow was pretty nice, between soft and crusty. Trails well groomed with minimal ice and no debris.

Beautiful conditions on the Old Logging Camp Trail out of Golden Eagle Lodge. Skied waxless classic. The track was in very good condition, especially this late in the season. Sections with greater sun exposure were a little sticky at times, and shaded sections had a bit of a glaze, but it was beautiful and very enjoyable. Very little debris anywhere in the system. Excellent grooming. Hopefully others will come out and enjoy the last weekend of groomed skiing here.

We groomed everything again last night and early this morning. A ton of snow out there yet but warmer weather is now on the way. Great conditions and skiing yet, especially in the morning. Trails will be open until the 27th of March.

Fresh grooming again yesterday and today. The ski trails are still in fantastic shape with plenty of base to get us through another couple weeks yet. Temps through the weekend are forecasted to top out around 26 degrees so should make for some beautiful outside weather and excellent skiing conditions.

Skied the Beaver Dam loop in the afternoon. Fantastic snow conditons with deep classic tracks set almost the whole trail except the steepest hills. Only slight hazard was small branches overhanging the classic tracks. Really beautiful area.

Bearskin provides the best skiing in March. Fabulous grooming, gorgeous views, pristine snow for both skate and classic todays. We did a midday ski and late afternoon in 26-32 degrees.

Absolutely amazing ski on the Central Gunflit Ski Trails. We skied the Ox Cart trail, Beaver Dam Trail, Summer Home Trail and the Old Logging Camp Trails from and back to Bearskin Lodge. The groomer met us at the intersection of Summer Home and Old Logging Camp trails and laid fresh tracks for us into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness. Ski trails were awesome!

Trails are freshly groomed again this morning. Evidence of the rain from last week is virtually gone as we have received 8 inches of snow since. Trails are in great shape, deck is firm, and the classic track set well again. Should be a great week of great skiing.
