First time skiing the north end of this iconic two track. Very nice intermediate level skiing. A few pesky pine needles and oak leaves to deal with but really a nice track. Carpe Skiem!

Good, overall. Tracks were set fine, but there was a fair amount of snow that offloaded from branches into the track, and various small sticks and leaves that made for a challenging ski today. On top of it the snow was super abrasive, so kick wax was wearing out quickly. However, none of this should discourage you from skiing this iconic track.

Trail was tracked this morning, and track was perfect! Firm, fast, clean. As good as I've ever seen it.

Skied from the North end trailhead off Beaver Lake Road. Trail had 2-3" of new snow that was well skied in. Lots of happy dogs enjoying the dog friendly portion of the trail.

Thoroughly enjoyed striding on the well used, but machine groomed tracks today at Cassian! This is a very fun 2-track that meanders thru the woods where our skins preformed well bounding up the hills. From the south parking lot, the tracks in first 1/4 K are a little dirty (pine needles), but after that it's clear sailing! Carpe Skiem!
