Notes

This trail has a variety of scenery as it winds around three lakes and through different types of terrain. It has a few rolling hills. Most of the trail follows old logging roads. This is an excellent trail for skiers of all abilities. There is a shelter located on the trail with a fire ring.

Groomed all loops today. There are many short sections of trail with no track due to thin snow cover. Conditions are fair.

Rolled and tracked Madeline Saturday. I had equipment problems so some loops are single tracked. Some areas are pretty thin under the conifers. Conditions are good.

Recent winds had left much leafy debris on the trail. All loops have been cut twice and tracked turning most of the leaves into the base. Good to very good conditions.

Trail would be excellent, except the high winds of yesterday have put so much leaf/needle/wood debris in the tracks that they are virtually unskiable. Will need some thorough grooming/new snow to cover it all back up.

Conditions today were excellent. I skied the entire trail system. The track was fast and the downhills had good control. It doesn't get any better than this. Fun Fun Fun.
