[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Skied at around 3:30 today. Started skiing at the Dog Park then skied to the Golf Course and skied on the Golf course for most of the time. With the wind being on the stonger side the past few days there half of the trail blown over with snow and the dog park area and golf course are all in the open area. Snow was soft and slow but under where the snow had blown over. The track and skate deck felt as firm as some days on manmade snow. Over by the Campground area the trails were probably perfect with that part of the park being protected in the woods from the wind.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Bunker Park: All trails were groomed in the morning, and classic track was set. Conditions are good.
Bunker Golf Course: The loop was groomed after noon. Double classic track was set over 80 percent of outer loop. Conditions are good, but soft spots can be found due to busting the drifts
Skijor Loop: Only the north half of the skijor loop was groomed. Access to the golf course is open via tunnel under railroad tracks.

Freshly groomed today With nice firm classic tracks. Skied the campground loops on my old wood skis. Very nice Snow and trail conditions. I'm starting to see more people out there but still very few. Now is the time to get out and ski Bunker Hills.

There is plenty of base but it has been only loosely groomed. The top layer of snow is very soft so it's a bit slow going. Still very nice snow and it was a pleasure despite having tons work a bit harder. I did not see classic tracks set anywhere near the golf clubhouse or the campground visitor center.

Classic trails were great. Tracks were set deep, well-formed, and fairly fast. There were some leaves on the ground that slowed down the tracks a little, but skiing was still great. It was quiet, peaceful, and lovely. Best I have seen in the Twin Cities for a handful of years, get out there and enjoy it.
