Skated the skijor trail at dusk. Good coverage with small bare spots at the crest of a couple hills. Deck was mostly good with the occasional icy patch, especially on the more exposed northwest portion.

Trails groomed supremely! Skate track was light and fresh. classical a bit deep and some ice forming as we left. Wind was strong SW and stayed to the wooded part to avoid the ice and cold. All in all the best this season! Gotta love that spring sun!

Bunker golf course skate lanes were groomed today. Bare spots throughout the course with grass poking through. Ski-able for both classic and skate. Skijor skate lane was groomed today, classic track was left alone. Condition was good, with some bare spots on tops of hills.

Trails in the park were groomed for skating today. Conditions are pretty good; the same bare spots still exist but it wouldn't be too hard to ski around them. The track was not reset but is still in decent shape.

I've skied the last couple days at Bunker. Overall good, thin in some places. Occasional ice. The Northeast trail is where I found myself dodging some dirt. An unusually high amount of traffic on the south side with trails showing the above average use, with tracks very degraded. The golf course was the best area in the park - probably the freshest groomed. Friday the deck was a little soft for skating. I didn't make it out to the golf course today, but the rest of the park was still in decent shape.

I classic skied the golf course portion this morning and the park side yesterday morning. I would rate the classic tracks on the parks side as fair and on the golf course as good. The park side has a lot of icy sections, especially on the hills on the south end. Some bare spots too. Overall the golf course was a much more enjoyable ski - double classic tracks set throughout and much fewer icy and bare spots. There were a few portions where the classic track was obliterated by skate skiers and those darn walkers! The skate deck looked good throughout on both sides except the aforementioned icy spots on the hills on the park side. The groomer has done the best job possible given the conditions. Bottom line is we need a bit more snow and no melting!

All trails in Bunker Park and the Skijor Loop were groomed today. Track was set and is in OK shape with several spots of dirt in the track. The skate deck is nice and firm with almost full coverage.

All trails in Bunker Park and the golf course were groomed and track was set on most trails. Conditions are good for skating, some dirt showing in a couple of spots but nothing of major concern. The tracks are decent as well. I had to pick up the track setter in some spots and the snow wasn't quite deep enough in some spots to provide a consistent, firm track, but it still should ski well. Skijoring was groomed on Sunday and is still in pretty good shape.

For some reason the ski rental office was closed today, so mine was the only car in the parking lot. They were plowing the roads while I was there and the trails were getting lots of snow. A little deep for good skating, but good coverage and only a bit icy underneath on the hills. The north side past the campground had some hidden rocks and pavement. Overall great to be out in the snowfall, get out there before walkers destroy the ski trail.
