Trail Detail
Notes
A great mix of beginner and expert ski trails. With the inclusion of the Jerry Jolly Trails there is about 25 km groomed for skating and classic. There is also an additional 15 km of classic only trails. With views of Lake Superior and the Apostle Islands, this is a very scenic area to ski. There is a nice lodge which sells snacks and food as well as a ski patrol and small downhill area.Trail Reports

Today Bob and I were able to get out and finish packing and tracking the classic only trails, including: Ravine, Deerpath, Blackbear, Oppedahl's and Birch Hill. Looked like the trails groomed yesterday setup fairly well overnight. With the balmy temps and sunshine today, will feel like spring skiing, enjoy.

With 4-6 inches of new snow, we packed, groomed and tracked the core trails today, including: Anchor, Jolly Long, Seagull, Seagull Connector, Rollercoaster, Telford, Sugarbush Classic, and the Sugarbush Dog Trail. I also packed Birch Hill, but didn't get to grooming it. The trails are probably a bit soft with all the new snow this week, but should setup pretty well tonight.

With about 1.5-2 inches of new snow, we regroomed and tracked: Anchor, Jolly Long, Seagull, Seagull Connector, Rollercoaster, Telford, and the Sugarbush Dog Trail. Probably a little soft, but looked nice otherwise! Get out and enjoy the nice temps today, 20 degrees when I left the hill.

Today we were able to get all of the trails groomed and tracked. This afternoon things were a little soft, but after setting up overnight the skiing should be very good tomorrow, if you don't mind the temps right around zero.

Since hitting 37F on Wednesday, which started to transform the snow a little, we got 3-4 inches of new snow on top. This evening we were able to get out and pack all of the trails, except for Oppedahl's and Birch Hill. Tomorrow am a crew is planning on going out and grooming up most of the trails. Should be back to very good to excellent conditions after the grooming and a little time for things to set up.

Tonight we regroomed and tracked the Sugarbush Dog Trail. Yesterday the other skate lanes were touched up. Was a good day of skiing with moderate temps, good snow, and lots of skiers.

Today we got out and tracked the classic only trails, including: Raven, Deerpath, Blackbear, Oppedahl's and Birch Hill. Conditions look quite nice out there. The only trail that isn't recently groomed I believe is Telford Loop.

Between last night and today, we groomed and tracked: Anchor, Seagull, Jolly Long, Rollercoaster, and Seagull Uphill connector, Sugarbush Classic, and the Sugarbush Dog Trail. We have plenty of snow, but the trails might be a little soft in places. Being next to The Lake, we have had warmer temps than some, having a high around 5 degrees today.
