Not well groomed but skiable. Would like tracks set wider on uphill skate sections. Some slightly grassy areas but no rocks.

I'd estimate 10" to a foot of snow in the trail surrounding Chequamegon National Forest woods. When I arrived at 10 a.m., the trails had been rolled but not otherwise groomed. About 2 inches of fresh snow overlay the rolled surface. There was skier set classic trail on all trail segments. As I skied, the groomer arrived and went to work. By the time I left the entire system was a freshly flattened, rilled skate deck like surface. Skiing on the skier set track and even the flat groomed surface was quite good. The grooming is scraping down to grass/dirt in places and there is small twig and branch blown down debris in the track. It's a beautiful trail.

2-3" base, all groomed in fair to poor condition, not enough snow to track, some debris in hemlock areas.
