Once again beautifully groomed trails at Afterglow! The best grooming we've had this year. Tracks well set for classic. Snow depth was great. Great coverage for skating. Also went out on fat bike trails this lafternoon. Trails were well packed!

The grooming is pristine. Pete's meticulous work makes these trails among Wisconsin's best. Be sure to do the Phelps Trail. You will not regret it.

Excellent! 5+" new snow. Snow started falling very wet and then 2-3" cold powder on top. Lots of water seeped to bottom to create a very solid base. Corduroy skate lane was smooth, flat and bump free throughout. Classic track was also firm and smooth throughout. Cold snow and temps +1F made glide slow, but kick faultless. Two poles plants went through to base on #5 out of 1000+, that is superb. All hills, both climbs and drops are now fear-free because of solid snowdeck. Thanks to the groomer!... and the snow gods.

Good to very good conditions. Most classic track is still very good. The thick forest here has protected the skiers from the wind. Our warm up lodge has been busy. Good to see smiling faces despite the cold temps. Fat Bike and snowshoe trails are in great shape too. Trails have been groomed 12 times this season.

Great conditions at Afterglow today! There were maybe a half dozen small spots where I saw a little grass or dirt poking through but everything was easy to avoid. I'd have no concerns using good skis. Everything was freshly groomed except for the long out and back (trail 5?). This is definitely one of my favorite places to ski; it's a great mix of green, blue, and black trails with some nice climbs and fun rolling hills through the woods.
