Went after work and found our new foot of snow groomed nicely including tracks at Wolverine today. Everything is still a bit soft since the snow is so fresh but this weekend should be great.

With the twelve inches of snow the area got late last week the Wolverine Trails were a winter wonderland, with snow draped on all the trees. Conditions were excellent and the classic tracks very firm, especially on the climbs. We haven't had a chance to ski there in a few years and forgot how nice Wolverine Trails were.

Great again today. Groomed this morning and has snowed since. Lots of people out on common routes, less on advanced trail. Bet you wish you were here.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The PistenBully was out early this morning setting tracks and skate lanes with 6" of fresh light snow. Was setting up nicely by 9am. Grooming will continue daily. Folks are arriving from all over to ski on the real deal- fresh snow. Even the Tippy Top guys were out early on snow for the first time this year.

Nice classic with a bit of glaze on the tracks, to be expected with the temps. Lots of happy there with good skis put to use. Should be a fun SISU.

PistenBully out with the volunteer groomers last night setting track and skate lanes. With the freezing nights trails are hardening and ready to go in the morning as temps rise. Grooming will continue as conditions hold. Fat bike trail head is at Snow Summit Drive, off of Powderhorn Rd.

Amazing conditions with firm and fast skate deck and tracks. It looks like the PistenBully was out for the first time this season, and conditions are ideal. Nothing to complain about here. Classic or skating, things are the best they can be! Should be a great weekend!
