Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All skate lanes were groomed this morning after 1" of snow fell overnight. Classic tracks were still visible and had good kick after new snow. Skating was supurb. Snow globe snow was on and off during the morning and sun came out in the afternoon. Pisten Bully will be out tomorrow morning grooming all trails and setting new track. Cool temps tonight. It is perfect conditions for spring skiing, no bare spots or water holes. A lot of folks out enjoying the perfect day.

PistenBully groomed this morning. Tilled corn throughout. Classic tracks are well set. Skate lane was a bit soft on top but fast. Haven't had much new snow but conditions continue to be great! Groomers will be headed out in the morning to smooth things out.

Very good spring skiing continues. Even with temps in the mid 50's, the trail skied very well thanks to a very firm and transformed base. Classic tracks were firm, and held the skis well although the sun has made them a bit wider and shallower than normal. The skate lane was very good too, not soft or punchy at all. Skiing in the morning could be scary fast. Thanks to the groomers who continue to work the deep base.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
The PistenBully was out in the morning setting new track and skate lanes on Novice trail. Excellent spring conditions. With cold nights base is still holding strong. Grooming will continue as weather permits. A wolverine was spotted on the trail -- a picture of one that is!

Excellent spring conditions. Skied most of the loops, including Powderhorn and Cliff Hanger. A dozen or more skiers enjoying a post-ski lunch in the hut, then a big group of kids and teachers from Ironwood Schools out at the trailhead in the afternoon. Big thanks to the Wolverine groomers for continuing the spring ski tradition here.

Trails were groomed this morning. Skate lane skied well as things softened up a bit this afternoon. Icy/fast in the shade, slower in the sun, full coverage, not much debris to speak of. Great Spring Skiing!

Skate lane was quite soft, particularly around the Powderhorn loop, and narrow in spots. Otherwise, good spring skiing conditions! Tracks looked good.

We largely had the trails to ourselves this afternoon. Conditions were excellent. We did the Powderhorn Trail for the first time and it is my new favorite. Excited about the first ever Mountains of the Midwest Triathlon next Saturday, March 2.
