Great ski on the Picnic loop. Main trails had just been groomed and the Picnic loop looked like it was tracked over the weekend. All trails were in great shape and conditions were just about perfect.

Skied the summit-view trail from the Britton Peak TH Sunday morning. Temps were cold! Around 1" of dusting and cold temps made for a slow-er skate. Scenery was beautiful though! (at least what I could see through my frozen eyelashses, haha).

Great ski around Moose Fence loops, across the connector to the Picnic Ridge trail, down to Britain Peak and then the ski down to Tofte. Light new snow covering the Moose fence and connector which made the kick really good with VR30. From Picnic loop on the grooming was new and the track was fast but too slick to stay in on several uphills. But a great ski overall and great scenery on a sunny cold day.

Did a quick skate around Homestead and Hogback from Britain Peak. Deck was firm, temps were moderate and a slight dusting of new snow made for good glide. Glad to get a good skate ski in before the temperature plummeted.

Skied the Oberg Loop around 5 pm. Classic tracks were great with no debris from the high winds earlier in the week. Some debris on the skate deck but looked avoidable. Unfortunately two people chose to walk the loop. I am sure they had an enjoyable walk :(.

It was our getaway day and I only skied the Tofte Ski Down. Had skied it the day before and it was a mess from the crazy winds. But it was groomed last night and it was in great condition for classic and skating. What a turnaround. Thanks groomers!

From Britton Peak trailhead, skied A-B-C-D-I-H-G-F the returned to parking area. Skate deck freshly rolled; classic tracks newly set; both excellent. A few sticks here and there from wild winds over the weekend, but thanks to fine grooming work, they did not pose any problem. Snow cold, fresh, and slow.

Skied from Britton Peak Trailhead at noon. Skied A-B-C-E-F-D loop. Much debris on trail surface from high winds on Sunday, including huge deadfall across trail between A and B, which we cleared. Track was gone for the most part. Deep drifts across trail at a few points.

Skied Oberg Mountain to Britton Peak down the Tofte Trail hill. New snow and wind-blown conditions. You make your own tracks. Beautiful, windy.

Wow! What a gorgeous day on absolutely beautifully groomed skate trails. The classic trails looked awesome too! A big thank you to the groomers for such a great day!
