Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We received about 6 inches of lake effect snow Monday night and Tuesday. We rolled it and used the drag on and then set track Tuesday afternoon. This morning we Ginzu groomed the entire trail system before 11am. Classic tracks are excellent as well as the skate decks. No measureable snow forecasted for the next couple days will have our system in fast and firm shape. Noque skiers should consider stopping by to stretch those travel legs a bit.

We groomed in 6" of snow from Monday night. Dan is doing finishing work the rest of the week. Look for some great skiing and snowshoeing through the weekend. Skied classic in the afternoon with Rode Blue Multigrade for kick.

Classic tracks in excellent shape and the milder temps have greatly improved skating glide. A good base with almost daily snow over the past week. Conditions will hold well through the weekend.

We ventured out on this bright, sunny and crisp day and decided to do Z trail. It was full of suprises and challenges and the scenery was gorgeous with all the snow on the big pines and Hemlocks. The trail conditions were near perfect.

The great base we had going into this warm-up has held up well. 40 and rain this afternoon but cold temps coming tonight with some fresh snow so we will be out grooming in the morning. Our trails should get back to great shape for the weekend.

Fantastic day of skiing in the UP! Grooming was excellent - both tracks and skate deck. Tons of snow - you can see at least 12 inches covering all the branches on the trees.

We groomed all of the skate lanes this morning. This snow is very cold so skating is slow. I skied all of D and G classical after grooming duties and it was very, very good. Classic tracks were skied in from yesterday and plenty fast. Downhills and climbs are in excellent shape as well.

Been getting nice amounts of lake effect snow the last couple of days and have been able to keep the entire trail system rolled and tracked. Classic tracks have been excellent. Skate lanes have been a touch soft as the new snow falls daily. We will be Ginzu grooming skate lanes in the morning.
