[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomers had snow overnight and then more in the morning. Full sun in afternoon with a good crowd skiing and snowshoeing. Classic tracks were in great shape. We stayed for New Year's Eve pot luck. Skied after in moonlight with no headlamps. Fairly awesome.

Great coverage, but the skate lane was a bit soft and slow with the fresh snow. Can use race skis.

Three inches of of cold snow fell overnight. We rolled and set track on all loops today. Lots of happy skiers out braving the frigid temperatures were rewarded with some fast tracks and sunshine. As always the Lodge was open and the woodstove was cranked up.

Abundant snow and sunshine. Near perfect classic tracks. Skate lane looked a bit soft. Easy waxing in these single digit temps.

Skied Valley Spur for the first time this year and the trails were very good. A couple of spots where the tracks got washed out from heavy traffic but most places were deep and firm and fast. Really solid pole plants and the skate deck looked flat and solid. We ran blue extra and kicked like a mule. Fun!

Regular snowfall and cold temps are just what we groomers love! Trails are getting better everyday. We are now Ginzu grooming the entire system so our base is quite good.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We received around an inch of fresh fluffy snow overnight and we took out our big Ginzu for the first time this year. Groomed A,B,C,D,I and Z this morning. Trails are getting very close to mid winter condition. We are still recommending B skis only because of the very few spots where logging was done this summer and a few dirt clumps are popping up. I'd say 98% of the trail system is mid winter conditions. We are open everyday all through the Holidays so don't hesitate to pay us a visit. Our trails are in very good shape and the Lodge is always warm!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
We got around 6 inches of fresh snow last night and today. Rolled and tracked all loops except for H trail. H had some standing water after the brief warm spell. Did some extra work on Z trail to flatten things out a bit. Trails are looking really good!

We opened up H trail and Worels Woods today. It looks good. There is some thin and icy spots down there but totally skiable. No tracks through there either. Our system is now completed and we are working on getting things flattened out. Skate lanes are getting very good. Get out and check it out!

Grooming
[ Trails Open: Most, Good skis ]
Our Groomer Dan has put a lot of work in the trails this past week and things have paid off. We have been getting several inches of lake effect snow each day, so he has worked that in and now has time to fine tune. Worel's Wood's was packed yesterday, so will be open in a day or two. We are in great shape for Christmas week. The snow shoe trail is packed and ready for some iPhone photos of your family.
