Morning
Firsthand: Classic
[ Good skis ]
Greenbush is starting to show wear and we could use a couple of inches. Classic skied all the trails over the past couple of days and there is still lots of good track, but many leaves, pine needles, and pine cones are starting to have an impact on the experience. Base is rock solid and fast.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Excellent. I skated the purple loop about noon, and the skating was about perfect. The classic tracks looked good. There was almost no ice anywhere and no debris to speak of in the pines.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ B skis ]
Conditions: Good. Freshly groomed and tracked.
Greenbush survived in good shape thanks to closing the trails over the weekend and grooming the couple of inches of fresh snow. Classic track starting to ice and collect some debris, but much better than I expected. Skate lane looked good. A couple of inches of snow this week and we will be back to excellent.

Trails groomed and track set on all trails at Greenbush. About 1 1/2 inches of new snow. Classic was very good. Skating a little slow.

Observation
Conditions: Greenbush has been completely groomed all around and looks great for both skating and striding. I drove over without my skis just to see if it was open, and the skiers in the warming hut confirmed that the trails are as good as they look.
Thanks to the groomers, we're back up with great skiing conditions.

Grooming Scheduling
[ B skis ]
Conditions: Trails Still closed. The Greenbush Ski Trails will remain closed through the weekend in order to allow the wet snow to firm up before grooming continues.
Recent warm temperatures have made the skiing surface extremely soft. Use of the trail at this time will create deep grooves, which will be difficult for groomers to remove once temperatures return to freezing.

Morning
Firsthand: Freestyle
[ Good skis ]
Conditions: Very good firm good coverage, but a little soft.
Skied purple and green trails between 8:30 and 11 am. There was 1/2 inch to one inch of new ungroomed snow since Tuesday. Snow was warm and a little soft and slow. Coverage was very good with little to no debris.
