Beautifully groomed skate lane and classic trails after 8 inch snow fall. Perfect for an moon lit ski. Trees flocked with the new fallen snow. Magical!

Looks like recently groomed. Classic skied. Tracks shallow in some sections, but still very good and trackable. Skate lane looked excellent (smooth, flat, and firm). Very nice xc skiing.

Crisp ski in the sunshine at 1 degree F. Firm medium deep to occasionally thin tracks. Beautiful conditions. Skied from East lot on Nine Pine, Blue Ox and Bear Paw. Glad the downhill glides aren't too long so my face could thaw out on the other sections.

Wow, great conditions. As someone noted yesterday, Boulder didn't get the rain, so doesn't have icy conditions. Lovely, freshly groomed.

One of the best skiing I have done this year. Boulder must not have gotten the rain Duluth got earlier in the week. The skate trail was very firm, fast, but not icy. Also very smooth. The dog pulled me and we were flying. Should be even better after they groom it.

Boulder was in good to very good skied-in conditions on "Dog Days". It was great to see the campground loop groomed yet lightly used. It was firm in the middle and a little soft on the edges. It's nice to skate through the campground loop which is very level and work technique. There were plenty of skiers out on Nine Pine, Blue Ox and Bear Paw which were firm and well skied in yet getting an edge was very easy. All-in-all it was a fast ski on a comfortable afternoon.

Second ski of the day - I can only comment on the one side of the trail. Parked at the east entrance - there was lots of foot traffic on this short 1k section. Let me paint a picture for you for the other part of the trail. Just imagine a 10+ foot wide bed of snow with a perfect pair of dadoes on the side - this is what I found on the primary ski trails. It was great to ski on natural snow. There were some icy areas under a few of the trees where the snow had been melted on. Looks like the single track was only groomed by skiers - looked to be all bushwacked instead of having a trail set.

Skied Boulder this morning before it got above freezing, both skate and classic. Fresh grooming (saw the two groomers), a few soft pole plants for classic, and not the fastest snow, but not bad. Super beautiful!

Winter wonderland. Beautiful with bountiful snow on ground and trees. Track somewhat soft due to abundant snow.

Skated Nine Pines by head lamp. The skate bed has firmed up nicely and the classical tracks are all set in place. A lovely evening in the woods!
