It was a great crisp morning at 2 degrees in the 7:30 am rise of the sun. We had a little bit of rain that turned to snow yesterday but the trail tracked perfectly. All loops are tracked. No bare ground and good snow coverage. With the cool temps this weekend we should stay in good shape.

I skied the Red and Blue loops in the early afternoon. The tracks have had heavy use and the downhills have been matted down pretty good so it is a fast trip down. There is not enough snow to level out the trail very well so it's also a wild ride down. Overall, I would classify trail conditions as fair.

Groomed and tracked all loops. Conditions fair. There is some debris (leaves, pine needles) in tracks on all loops and I also noticed a few bare spots but not many.

Temperature was minus 4 degrees upon arrival at noon but it had warmed up to a balmy plus 2 degrees by the time I finished skiing three hours later. Wind chill was not a factor in the woods. I skied the red, blue, and green loops each from the parking lot so it added up to 22k which was not bad for my first time out this season. I skied on my Atomic Redster skis so I didn't have to worry about kick. Swix LF 4 for glide was good but not great because of the cold temps.

Drove south from Ironwood with white out conditions to Madeline Trails where the sun was shining bright. The trail was in great shape with solid double tracks. Downhills were fast. 0F° with a slight breeze. A fun trail.

Very good conditions, with a fresh dusting on the groomed and tracked base, lightly used. We skied the blue and one lobe of the red.

Groomed and tracked all loops this morning. There are some thin areas in tracks where leaves are showing but not many so be careful of those spots. Otherwise trails look good.

Packed trail today with groomer to firm up the base some more. Did not lay tracks yet waiting for next snowfall to pack one more time and possibly lay tracks.

Rolled, not machine tracked, however there are skied in tracks. Plenty good for now, but once the tracks are set I think it'll be fantastic. There is plenty of snow to set track.
