Morning
Firsthand: Both
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Full depth classical track, amazing glide, and a little soft on outside pole plants. The trail is in excellent shape! Temp was 32 degrees. The skating deck was a little soft, but skied like you were skiing on soft velvet. We skied from Sundstied RD to almost Hwy 45 trailhead and back, great coverage on the whole trail. The best classical track I have skied in all year. The groomers are doing an awesome job!

Firsthand: Freestyle

Great conditions this afternoon, the temps and sun combined to soften the trail a bit, but great coverage and grooming overall. What a gem.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Yesterday's two inches of shaped up quite nicely this morning although the warming temps are bound to soften things considerably. Hard to beat the early morning skiing if your schedule permits! Skate lane and classic tracks are near peak season condition.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Another half inch fell since yesterday's grooming so we refreshed the entire surface including skate lane and tracks. The cold, dry snow did not set up to perfection but should still provide very enjoyable skiing. Remember your sunscreen and dark glasses!

Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
We arrived in the late morning just as the groomer was putting down a track. Coverage was great even under the conifers. The course was so new it was a little soft. If you have never been there do not be discouraged by the first 30 meters on the Three Lakes end, it is just a connector from parking to the trail.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Classic tracks are silky smooth. "Cheap Blue" gave confident kick and glorious glide! The skate lane looked a bit soft - understandable with the new, dry snow. Should firm up nicely for a great week of skiing.

Morning
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Groomed 4-6" of new snow this morning. The entire trail is open - about five miles. Skating lane and classical track should be outstanding after it's had a chance to set-up. Enjoy!

Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
Groomed 2" of fresh, dry powder. Skate lane firmed up quickly. Set tracks on full length of trail with generally very good results. Watch for thin spots under dense conifers. Encountered several very enthusiastic and appreciative skiers. The predicted cold temps should maintain good conditions through the rest of the week.

Evening
Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Rolled and combed but no tracks set. Fresh corduroy over a 3" base. If Sunday's forecast comes true we may be able to set tracks on Monday.

Afternoon
Firsthand: Classic
[ Trails Open: All, Rock skis ]
Thin coverage but skiable. My kick zone was occasionally lifting the entire base, leaving exposed ground. Otherwise no problem with decent glide. The cooler temps and drier conditions should help. We need another 3 to 4 inches of good snow before any grooming is attempted.
