Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
Most of Pioneer Creek was rolled and packed today. The UTV broke down and I won't be able to get it in the building until tomorrow. Grooming will have to be put on hold until we figure things out. Very disappointing!

Excellent conditions. Half an inch to an inch of new snow on a firm skate deck. Again winter walkers have left their mark. Disappointing considering the time and energy put into grooming and maintaining this beautiful trail system.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
All trails were groomed this morning and a track set. Trails look very nice but are a little soft. This weekend is the time to hit the trails. Grooming plans: With the forecast, most likely nothing will be done next week!

Skate deck was wide smooth and beautifully groomed. At times a little soft in places due to the warmer temps but firm pole plants throughout. Hopped in and out of classic tracks and they were fast. This is a hidden ski trail gem of the Northwoods! The only bummer was a pair of winter walkers had left their mark. Didn't see any no winter walking signs, which might help.

Trails are in great shape! I was classic skiing on Sunday and out on the skate skis this morning and the trails had been groomed sometime between the two outings. Classic tracks were fast and no-doubt stayed fast with some extra care. The skate deck was solid and fairly fast with just a couple very little soft spots on some of the hills.

Grooming

Excellent conditions at Pioneer Creek. All skate decks were gone over and are extremely nice at this time. The first half mile of tracks had been cut and reset, all other tracks were left alone and are in very good condition! Very nice temperatures to get out and enjoy.

The beginning of the trail is beat up from walkers but after the first quarter mile it turned out great. We skied the classic trail with some newbies. It was a bit too fast for them but I enjoyed the speed. Grooming on the later trails was great.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, Good skis ]
This was a new one, a vehicle drove on the ski trail for close to 2 miles! I have cut the tracks out and packed the best that I could. The whole system has been groomed and a beautiful track set along a very nice and level slake deck! Excellent conditions with temperatures dropping to really firm things up.

Skied the trails and thought they were okay, a bit icy. The trails could use better signage. Our group got lost at one point and eventually made it back.

Trails were icy. Needs to be groomed or a fresh snowfall. It was hard to make the turns that were at the bottom of the hills.
