All trails at Greenbush were groomed last night and were in as good as condition as they could be given the weather. I skied all trails and they were all very good. Skate deck was firm and fast with just enough tilling to get an edge. Tracks are intermittent and shallow due to low snow conditions. Some dirt and leaves in the usual areas under pines.

Grooming
[ Trails Open: All, B skis ]
I did a late Saturday night grooming and track setting of the entire system including the black trail. The classic tracks are shallow do to the solid base, skate deck smoothed and leveled very nicely, early Sunday skating conditions could possibly be the best of the season, There are a few bare spots, I would recommend B+ skis (if there is such a thing). Happy skiing and please leave a trail report, we value the feedback (good or bad).

Classic skied the red and green loops around 3pm. Better coverage than expected, with only a few easily avoidable bare spots. Conditions were extremely fast and exciting. The tracks were glazed but present and in decent shape on both loops.

Another good day at Greenbush. The air temperature was 32F when I arrived just before nine this morning. I skied a purple, blue, brown, and the practice segment. A little crust when I started then turning softer due to ski traffic and rising temperatures. The base is much more solid than when I skied last Sunday. If it goes below freezing at night the morning is the best time. Thank you groomers for preserving these trails in difficult weather conditions.

I classic skied the purple and brown loops, between 9 and noon. The tracks were a little shallow (not freshly formed), but initially solid and fairly clean and quick (except in the typical pine debris locations). The track disappeared on the purple loop where the red loop splits and then reappeared where the green loop splits off. I skied on the skate deck where needed, which was also solid until the temperature rose a bit (my second loops). The last hour or so, the tracks and deck were getting soft and the track was getting degraded. Not pristine conditions, but very much appreciated in this weather. Early tomorrow may again be more solid. Thanks to the groomers for the good work and timely updates.

I skied the purple, red, and a portion of the green. The track was solid and fast not icy. The skate deck was excellent as the groomer had already been out and I started at 9:00 a.m. this morning. Thanks groomers for your time and effort.

Skied the Brown and Purple this morning, trails were freshly groomed overnight. Conditions were pretty good, there is some debris in the normal (pines) areas and on the purple near the marsh. We used our good skis without a problem but I would recommend B skis. Once again the Greenbush grooming team came through!

I got out on the trail just after 8AM. The skate deck was groomed well and "icy fast" and fun. The purple pines were ok with some dirty/debrie spots but no problem skating over it. I did the purple, red and brown loops. All very nice! I tried the green but it was icy and not groomed as far as I could tell. The brown loop was in the best condition of all and the classic track looked good there.

What an amazing find when I took a chance on driving to Greenbush today! I skied the purple and two loops of the green and found good tracks throughout, minimal debris in the pines, and only one bare patch that had to be avoided on the green, just past the open prairie under the power lines. Hats off to the groomers - today was close to perfect!

The Greenbush Grooming Warriors continue to deliver excellent skiing for us in the Northern Kettles. Their tireless efforts have enabled us to get the most out of our snow. Even with the recent attack of rain, fog, and warm temps my ski this morning was delightful. Arrived to find fresh classic tracks that eliminated most of the debris. Temps in mid- 30s made tracks and skate deck soft and a bit slow, but to be expected. Ski on!
